A day with no photos!

Yesterday was my first day with no photos, and it was a quite pleasant day! It started off with sleeping late, which was nice. Then after breakfast and waking up, I had some time in the pool and by the pool. It was hot and sunny, so that was great (of course I managed to get sunburn even though I wasn't out that long, but I didn't find that out until this morning!).

Then Mark and I went off to see 2012 at the theater. It was silly and formulaic, but good enough for some summer entertainment. It was also quite long because by the time we came home I had just enough time to change before we went to a party for Michelle's cousin's daughter, who was turning 21. Michelle's whole family was there, and it was nice to meet them. But I think the best part was the home it was held in. Newly built, it was a spectacular modern building, designed by another relative. The architecture was really lovely, with lots of glass and open space, and a great pool. But I didn't feel right to take pictures, so you'll just have to take my word for it. The food was also amazing all night, and being Australia, there were many drinks along the way. A very nice evening, indeed.
