A chill day

It was a much needed mellow day today. I've definitely got a head cold, and my sinuses are not happy. But after a relaxed morning, Michelle and I went to the shopping centre (looked like a mall to me!) where we ran a couple of errands and I got a pair of shorts (I had only packed one).

Mark met us soon after, after getting a great shot of Flat Stanley and some work buddies.


I got a bit of a tour of the area while we were driving around after that, and even recognized some bits from when I was here in 2004! Then we went to go pick up Mark's dress pants because he was off to a dress-up dinner to welcome the new SERT (like SWAT) guys from graduation. We stopped for a nice coffee before coming back to the house.

Michelle and I have been chilling out, had a tasty lasagna and now are watching the CSI-combo pack (3 episodes, Miami, NYC, and LV back-to-back crossover). My head's all foggy, but otherwise I'm okay. I just hope I can sleep with the stuffed up nose.
